3/28/2010: Long time between updates.......We've been working on building bumpers using new a manufacturing process. This has caused us to focus on searching for new vendors, building prototypes, etc. This new process requires a much higher initial investement to launching a new bumper design. As a result we will be trimming back our bumper offerings and slowly releasing new/revised models over the course of 2010. The TJFW-100 should be available in a few weeks and will be up for sale on Ebay.

11/16/09: New XJ non-winch bumper design has been added to the XJ/MJ offerings. Should be avaialbe for purchase early 2010.

10/26/09: Sent a new XJ non-winch bumper design off to be laser cut. Should have the prototype assemlbed in about a week. Bumper will be similar to the bumper below but now with side protection.

One time sale on a heavy duty Jeep Cherokee/Comanche front bumper

- 2 D-ring Tabs
- Bumper shell is 3/16" steel
- D-rings are 7/8" thick and tie directly into the frame plates
- 1-3/4" main tube, 1-1/2" side tubes
- Bumper bolts to the frame using full frame plates
- 2 light mounts (probalby need to be re-drilled forward depending on what lights you use) and flag mount on top of the hoop
- Painted with flat black spray paint
- Mounting hardware is included
- Lights not included

I'm looking for a Wrangler owner in the area of South Bend IN, Kalamazoo MI, or Grand Rapids MI that is interested in a rear tire carrier bumper. What I need is for this person to put down a deposit to cover the materials and possibly powder coating, that is all I will charge for the bumper. In return I need their help with a couple test fit sessions and a photo shoot when the bumper is complete.

As with all my bumpers the steel will be CNC cut and MIG welded. Bumper shell is 3/16" steel that is reinforced in critical areas. D-ring mounts are 1/2" steel with 1" thru hole that tie directly into the mounting plates. Bumper will include a 2" receiver hitch that is heavily reinforced but will not be tow rated due to the legality issues associated with that.

Tire carrier is slated to be built from 2"x1/8" square tubing. Spindle is from AtoZ Fabrication and is their standard model (good up to 35" tire). Latch mechanism is from DE-STA-CO. I've designed an additional support from the top of the tire carrier to the body to keep vibrations and swaying to a minimum.

Couple things in devleopment right now.

YJFW-100 Stubby winch bumper in development. Designed to fit the Jeep YJ and CJ models. TJ version will follow shortly. Tube will be and optional addition to the base bumper.

We also have a 14 bolt pinion guard in the early stages of development.

8/18/09: Product pages seperated into vehicle catagories. XJFW-100 pricing now avaiable and ready for order.

8/6/09: DIY bead lock kits are done and ready for ordering. Custom designs and group buy pricing also available.

7/28/09: Working on serveral projects right now. Should have the XJFW-100 Cherokee/Comanche winch bumper ready for purchase shortly. DIY bead lock kits are currently in the development stage and should be ready for purchase towards the middle of August. Lastly, working on a two Wrangler rear bumpers to compliment the TJFW series of bumpers. Should have a base bumper with two recovery mounts and a reciever hitch (not tow rated) as well as a tire carrier version.
